Artist statement: Dusk arrives in Peace Country. I wanted to capture the colours and hues of the minimal light just before the sun slipped under the horizon on one of the shorter days of the year up north.
Artist statement: I wanted to capture the roughness of the Grassi Lakes Trail near Canmore and the texture of the rockfall on the trails edge with sunshine beyond on the open hillside.
